Hassan Al Hilou is a serial entrepreneur, adviser and keynote speaker on the topics of D&I, Youth innovation, and entrepreneurship. He lectures at renowned business schools and universities like the Vlerick Business School and the VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). Hassan is a renowned thought leader on radical innovation and Youth Empowered Economy who has given numerous keynote presentations around the world, for companies such as Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Deloitte, Bosch Group, Bain & Company, Google, Microsoft, ... and has been the keynote headliner for many internal conferences for Fortune1000 companies.
He started on the age of 15 as the youngest entrepreneur of Belgium where he received recognition from the media, royalties and policy makers.
Today it he builds innovative Youth Led programs to engage all youth in self-empowerment and economy. He is the author of the book ‘I Am Hassan – Entrepreneur of my Own Life' about entrepreneurship and innovation, about those entrepreneurs and companies that are able to rethink themselves in cycles: time and time again they rise from the ashes of the old and come out stronger than ever before.
His book ‘GovTech: how to transform the region into a leading digital government’ is focusing on how politics and governments could survive in times of radical innovation. He writes about how the government should explore the limits of the digital world, and what happens when technology just becomes ‘normal’ and how to engage youth in building this start up economy. Hassan is frequently asked to contribute to (international) publications and is an Influencer.
