Frederik Anseel, distinguished scholar at the renowned AGSM, has held prominent positions in top institutions such as King's College London, ESSEC Business School, Bocconi University, and Ghent University. Anseel's research focuses on the ways individuals and organizations adapt to change. His widely-cited leadership studies have been published in premier academic journals and featured in significant media outlets like The Financial Times and The New York Times.
In 2018, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) selected him for a global webinar on mental health and leadership. His article on COVID-19's potential impact on urban design was recognized by LinkedIn as one of 21 Big Ideas for 2021. Anseel, elected fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), has twice received the Academy of Management's Best Paper Award.
